Glacial grandeur

The largest of the three Swan Hellenic Cruises new builds, SH Diana was built by Helsinki Shipyard and designed for worldwide navigation and operations in extreme weather conditions from tropical climates to polar regions with heavy ice fields. The new generation polar class expedition vessel has a PC6 ice-strengthened hull. The vessel also features diesel-electric propulsion system with selective catalytic reduction and battery package reservation, and it is designed for 5-star luxury with spacious cabins and suites, many with balconies.

Helmacab was the main cable supplier producing and delivering several hundred kilometers of cables on time and according to Helsinki Shipyard’s production schedule. Helmacab covered the full scope of power and instrumentation cabling needs for the project.
