Helkama Bica Continues Journey of Growth Under New Ownership
The entire share capital of Helkama Bica has been sold to Swedish private equity investor Accent Equity and Bica’s executive management. The transaction agreement was signed on 12.7.2024, and the ownership of Helkama Bica and its subsidiaries will be transferred to Accent Equity and Bica’s executive management on 31.8.2024.
This transaction will open an even bigger playing field for growth and opportunities for the expanding business Bica has been successfully running. To ensure future competitiveness and insightful investments worthy of the company, new stronger resources are needed. That is what this new arrangement is sure to bring to the table, and with a large spoon.
This is a great opportunity and timing for the growth and development of the new Helkama Bica. The company’s growth phase and market situation are favorable right now, enabling us to implement our strategy and expand internationally with the new resources. Ownership is not the only thing that’s new – Helkama Bica will also be renamed to better reflect the new business. The superior service and products, exquisite quality and highest level of customer service our customers have grown accustomed to will still remain a guarantee, and the HELKAMA name will stay on all products under a license agreement for a period of time.
